Born and raised in Easton, Coard has a sound understanding of life on the Shore. Having been exposed to Real Estate from an early age, with his father as broker since 1962, Coard has developed a reverence for those endearing traits of Real Property. He graduated Country Day School in 1986 and went on to St. James Episcopal School in Hagerstown, Maryland. Through his high school experience he participated in school life through groups such as the Vestry, as an Usher for the school congregation, prefect council and disciplinary committee. In 1990 he was enrolled in Hampden-Sydney College in Farmville, Virginia from which he graduated with a BA in Economics. After a 2-year sabbatical in Jackson, WY, enjoying the out of doors, Coard returned to Easton where he worked for two years in marketing a start up business. Coard was then licensed as a Realtor in 1998 and has worked closely with his father since with his focus on client service.

Coard has been active with local charitable organizations and truly believes in service before self. He has been a committee member for the Talbot County chapter of Ducks Unlimited for the past 10 years, a member of the Easton Rotary Club and a 6 year board member of Pickering Creek Audubon Center. Participation within the community and networking is a key to his influence within the Real Estate market.
